    The Nasa (Paez) people who live in Caldono, Cauca, are indigenous of this part of Colombia. These producers are part of Comepcafe, a cooperative that was established in 2010. The farms are less than 1 ha and are traditionally planted mainly with Castillo and Colombia. The coffees are pulped in the farms in traditional beneficios in small pulping machines before then being dry fermented in tiled tanks overnight for 12-16 hours. After this the coffees are then dried for 7-10 days in parabolic tents on raised beds.
